Len is an excellent story teller. I personally liked the way how he describes all the nuisances of Crime scenes. Because he had first hand experience as an investigator, the story comes to life in his descriptions of various crimes. This book is action packed, and a good read. Loved the story line and the characters, the action, the danger and the fact that the writer held true to how a man thinks and reacts in relationships. Due to my busy schedule I find little time to read these days; however, the story held my interest and many times I did not want to stop reading but had to. I couldn't wait until I could continue reading again. Thoroughly enjoyed the read.
Len has created a very interesting character in Duncan. He seems to be in the wrong places at the right time or the right places at the wrong time. Set in the Midwest, Duncan uses his new job as a professional photographer to sort out a variety of crime scenes and unsavory people to solve the crime in a small town. The supporting cast provides a unique snapshot (pun intended) into the lives of his friends and enemies. Clearly worth the price for summer reading on your kindle.
Len offers a unique perspective through his story telling that keeps you guessing as to how the puzzle pieces fit together. I am not a big reader but I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure and am looking forward to the next one.
